SecuriGroup Achieve Highest SIA Score

SecuriGroup Achieve Highest SIA Score

SecuriGroup is proud to announce our highest score to date in the Security Industry Authority (SIA) Approved Contractor Scheme following an independent assessment.

Since the creation of the ACS, SecuriGroup has been ranked in the top 5% of all member organisations, and our new score 163 points reflects our commitment to continuous improvement.

The organisation is dedicated to setting the standard of security services in our industry, supplying to our extensive portfolio of clients throughout the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland with our tailored, best-in-class approach.

Embracing the benefits of regulation is one of the reasons SecuriGroup is in the position to regularly exceed standard performance levels.

Working closely with organisations such as the SIA, and regularly assessing our own standards and processes, supports the company to achieve year-on-year improvements.

This commitment to operational excellence is also demonstrated by the wide range of accreditations and standards to which we adhere.

SIA Approved Contractor Scheme

The Security Industry Authority (SIA) was established as an independent body under the auspices of the Private Security Industry Act 2001 and reports to the Home Office.

As well as managing the compulsory licensing of individuals undertaking security roles, the SIA is charged with administering an Approved Contractor Scheme designed to measure security providers against an extensive set of performance standards.

The ACS provides a recognised hallmark of quality within the private security industry, subjecting all members to a rigorous assessment process which covers over 80 performance indicators across nine essential criteria.

SecuriGroup was one of the first registered members of SIA Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS), a system designed to raise performance standards and to assist the private security industry in developing new opportunities.

By working proactively with the regulator, the Police and other stakeholders, SecuriGroup continues to demonstrate to buyers its commitment to quality and is consistently ranked in the top 5% of the accreditation scheme.

We are distinguished by our unique innovations, processes, and services, which are informed by collaboration with leading agencies and bodies within the security industry.

These specialist, bespoke services form part of our focus on meeting the evolving challenges of a modern security industry.

We are independently assessed each year to ensure our standards continue to improve, and we remain one of the top suppliers in the sector for quality and value.

SecuriGroup Chair Baroness Henig

In December, SecuriGroup Chair Baroness Ruth Henig addressed the House of Lords to both praise the impact the SIA and call for increased regulation. Baroness Henig pointed to the clear improvements affected, rising standards, and highlighted the shared consensus for increased standards of training.

The SIA and its Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS) remains the hallmark of quality for the private security industry. With continued support from SecuriGroup and other industry leaders, the SIA can continue to improve performance standards and continue to raise the bar for excellence.
