As we head into the final week of the UN Climate Change Conference 2021 (COP26) in Glasgow, we would like to shine a light on the incredible work being achieved by our colleagues on the front line.
Over the course of the event, our colleagues have worked collaboratively with clients, emergency services and the public to ensure a safe space for all to be involved in this historical event for change. They have truly embodied our core purpose of Strengthening Society, and have mastered any challenge that has been thrown their way, including the weather!
SecuriGroup Chair, Baroness Ruth Henig CBE, met with our colleagues over the weekend as they carried out their roles at some of Glasgow's most prestigious sites, and at our Operations Centre at HQ.
She commented that she was extremely impressed with the enthusiasm and commitment of everyone she met:
"Two things stood out for me - the first was the dedication, pride and professionalism of our colleagues, and the second was the excellent relationships in place between them, the Police, and other agencies. Well done to all of you!"
SecuriGroup would like to thank everyone involved for their continued commitment and support in delivering this landmark event.
