SecuriGroup Charity of 2018: Be Your Best Foundation

SecuriGroup Charity of 2018: Be Your Best Foundation

SecuriGroup Chair, Baroness Ruth Henig, has selected the Be Your Best Foundation as the SecuriGroup annual charity for 2018.

Through their events, the BYBF provide unique opportunities for young people to develop a whole range of new skills, build confidence, and increase physical activity and well-being.

Since the event started in 1996, the organisation has led to performances involving around 320,000 young people, attended by over half a million audience members!

For years, Baroness Henig has been impressed and moved by the "amazing results" achieved by the organisation.

The Be Your Best Foundation gives young people from 8 to 18 years old the chance to perform on a professional stage in a theatre/dance piece, one which they themselves have produced.

The organisation aims to encourage young people to lead healthy lifestyles without the need for alcohol, tobacco and other harmful substances. That's a pretty good win-win situation!

The results are amazing, and it is clear that the students gain so much from the experience.
