E-Learning
SecuriGroup's Learning Management System (LMS) delivers clear, concise and targeted training to our people. By keeping the content of our Course Catalogue relevant to our operating landscape, and maintaining the knowledge and competency of our people through remote learning, we ensure that our training offering provides the tools to help our people develop and succeed.
SecuriGroup LMS has been singled out during ACS and Investors in People audits as best practice due to its ground-breaking intuitive format and its ability to track the Continuous Professional Development (CPD) of our people and clients via e-learning. Our bespoke e-learning system allows us to design and deliver courses to our exacting requirements.
Staff Leaderboard
Upon course completion, learners are awarded a certificate and receive points to increase user engagement. Learners unlock levels and customisable badges, and can work their way up the SecuriGroup LMS Leaderboard.
Bespoke Reports
SecuriGroup LMS can produce tailored dashboards on course uptake and completion in order to demonstrate adherence to scheduled training on site, and each individual learner's
Training Needs Analysis.

Remote Learning
Training delivery is entirely flexible to a learners requirements, with a varied Course Catalogue able to be completed from home at a time that suits, at work, or during management site visits. All results are stored and tracked.

Classroom-based delivery encourages collaboration between learners, and offers a chance to receive more focused training on a particular topic.

Baroness Ruth Henig CBE
Policy & Regulation
Ruth was appointed as SecuriGroup Chair in 2014, and plays a pivotal role in steering Company strategy, influencing our service delivery to clients and shaping the future of the industry through best practice. Ruth is currently a Deputy Speaker in the House of Lords, is the President of the Security Institute, is Chair of the CSPR, and has previously served two terms as Chair of our Home Office regulator, the Security Industry Authority.

Allan Burnett QPM
Counter-Terrorism & Security Expertise
Prior to joining SecuriGroup, Allan served for 30 years in the police service, latterly as the Assistant Chief Constable in charge of coordinating counter-terrorism in ACPOS. Allan cascades this expertise throughout his operational teams, and is a regular commentator on television around the terrorist threat. Allan was the principal industry consultant on scenario-based ACT training for the private security industry.

Mike Still
Risk & Claims Defensibility
Mike brings over 35 years of experience in the insurance and risk management industry, having been a Managing Director of global insurance broker Marsh and previously Aon. His expertise in business resilience, claims defensibility and his extensive professional network, adds further depth to our board and supports the organisation’s growth goals.

Dr Mark Hamilton FdA MA
Crowd Dynamics & Spectator Safety
Mark Hamilton brings over 40 years’ experience in security, safety and crowd management. He has held responsibility for security at a number of illustrious events such as Wimbledon and Royal Ascot, as well as major music events such as T in the Park and V Festival. An original collaborator of The Purple Guide, Mark's expertise informs our training around Close Protection, Crowd Dynamics, and Safety at Events.

David Waddell MIFSM
Emerging Technology
A security specialist in business fire and security systems, David leads the innovative SecuriGroup Systems department. With an extensive knowledge of current and emerging technologies, David brings years of experience in surveying and consultancy. This expertise is cascaded through our service delivery, in order to offer clients augmented technology and security services. He is also a member of The Institute of Fire Safety Managers.

Samantha Lang
Risk, Compliance & Audits
SecuriGroup's Risk Manager, Samantha Lang, holds both the IOSH and NEBOSH qualification, reporting directly to Managing Director, Russel Kerr, who heads the Company's Risk Committee. Samantha works closely with all departments to mitigate risk, whilst steering the Company through annual audits. She holds Lead Auditor certification for ISO 9001, and Internal Auditor for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001.

SecuriGroup has a full portfolio of e-learning and scenario testing which can be developed into a tailored programme through workshops, seminars and online webinars. SecuriGroup’s dedicated training committee evaluates key topics that can be delivered by subject experts.
In addition to classroom-based training, SecuriGroup offers a range of e-learning courses for online and mobile app completion.
SecuriGroup can also facilitate seminars to be delivered to clients on a particular topic, including Counter-Terrorism, Dynamic Lockdown, Mental Health Awareness and Protestor Management.








Toolbox Talks

Our suite of Toolbox Talks is used to provide fast and up-to-date testing of staff knowledge and competency. Approved by SecuriGroup's Training Committee, consisting of key individuals across the organisation, our management teams can offer effective refresher training during site visits on a number of topics, ranging from knowledge of Assignment Instructions and site duties to Health & Safety, Incident Reporting, Emergency Procedures, and First Aid.
Toolbox Talks form an effective part of our people's learning and development journey. Development needs are monitored and discussed during colleague appraisals and delivery progress can be tracked and audited by our clients.
Apprenticeships
At SecuriGroup, we are investing in the skills and knowledge needed for the future. An apprenticeship is a great way for candidates to gain hands-on experience while they earn and learn. SecuriGroup’s Learning and Development Academy has forged some great partnerships with academic institutions, accreditation bodies, apprenticeship providers, and sector skills organisations to provide fresh talent with clearly defined career pathways.
Our apprentices are currently engaged in programmes from electronic fire and security, business administration, cyber security, and software development.
